What is healthcare and social services navigation?
At Health Net, navigation means helping people access and effectively use healthcare, community services, and informal support networks. Our navigation services are like the GPS maps on your phone, but personalized to your strengths, needs, concerns, goals and plans so you can be healthy and successful.
Our team can work with you, much like a GPS, to figure out different paths or options, guide you through an area you are unfamiliar with, talk to you about potential barriers or obstacles that might get in the way of your plan, estimate the amount of time your selected path might take, suggest a backup plan if you change your mind along the way, and can tell you about other resources in the area.
