Providing information and connection to resources to support expectant parents and families with children birth to age six.
Early Childhood Services
Our early childhood services connect expectant parents and families with children birth to age six to information and community resources.
How We Help
We connect families with the resources, services and information they need to support the healthy growth and development of their children. Some of these resources include home visiting programs, playgroups, or child development information and screening. We also connect and navigate individuals to resources for health-related social needs including, but not limited to, utilities, safety, food, housing and transportation.
Families are connected to resources through a representative from our client services team who works with you to suggest programs that are the best fit for your family. We will follow up with you regularly to answer questions and to connect you with further resources as needed.
Who is eligible?
Individuals living in Kent County who are expectant parents or have a child birth to six years old.
If you have any questions about our early childhood services, please call 616-726-8204.
These services were made possible because of the generosity of Kent County taxpayers and the voter-approved Ready by Five Early Childhood Millage. If you would like to support our outreach and navigation services through a donation, please donate here.
Thank you for your consideration!
