Dear Colleagues and Friends:

For the past 12 years, our organization has had the privilege of serving our community, collaborating with valued partners, and advocating for systemic change at the local, state, and national levels.

Recently, shifts in funding, changes in government policy, and other external changes have significantly impacted our ability to sustain this work. After extensive planning and thoughtful consultation with our Board of Directors, we had to make some very difficult decisions with our staff, partners, and community in mind.

Due to these factors, I regret to inform you that Health Net of West Michigan will close; our final day of operations will be Friday, May 22.

We remain committed to serving our community for as long as possible without sacrificing the high-quality navigation services we provide. The last day we are accepting new clients will be May 1. After this date, our resource navigators will make warm handoffs to trusted partners if a client calls seeking support. We will continue to serve all existing clients up to our closing date.

We are deeply grateful for your partnership and the work we have accomplished together to improve the health and well-being of our community. While our organization is closing, our commitment to health equity remains strong. We are confident that, together, our community will continue to support neighbors, connect individuals to resources, and advocate for meaningful, lasting change.

A member of our team or I will remain in touch as we navigate this transition and share any relevant updates.
